Life and TCM in China was eye opening seeing over 100 patients daily in Surgery, Internal/External Medicine, EENT, Neurology, Oncology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Acupuncture, Tuina, and Herbology. China stole her heart; she plans to study Mandarin and return to train in the Hospital as time, and her dog allow. Krystal previously lived in Fort McMurray taking Science courses, learning Photography, and searching for the right career fit. Her heart dog Dexter, and his health issues introduced her to TCM. Soon after Krystal dove into Yoga and Acupuncture at Higher Health and knew her life and mindset was ever changed. After Working at Higher Health watching countless patients and clients transform, heal from injuries, and change their lives Krystal knew she had to leave to pursue her dreams; school was a perfect fit. She is extremely grateful to practice in Fort McMurray, where the lifelong adventure started. Loving the Northern country she looks forward to new memories running many miles, camping, cross country skiing and kayaking the river with her favourite little being, her dog Reese. Krystal loves the diversity Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine allows when it comes to treating patients. Finding Acupuncture as a injured runner, and since finding relief from allergies, interrupted sleep, stress, adrenal distress, hair loss, other injuries and life hiccups Krystal finds it easy to stand behind and practice this Ancient, Science backed Medicine. Treating the body as a whole, and digging beneath the surface of injury, illness or imbalance to help facilitate others heal is one of the most gratifying things she feels lucky to be part of.
