Here are some tips on getting the most out of your massage
How to prepare
- Arrive 5-10 Minutes early to fill out a intake form
- Refrain from Alcohol & Caffeine before your treatment
- Please shower prior to the treatment if you have undergone a heavy workout
- Eat a light snack before the massage, avoid heavy meals
- Try to avoid stressful situations before the massage, take a few minutes to unwind before coming in
- Try to wear less makeup and avoid perfume/cologne prior to have a massage
- Wear or bring loose fitting clothing to your massage for doing stretches/exercise after the treatment
- Use the washroom prior to the massage
- Upon arriving at the clinic please turn off your cell phone
After the massage
- Drink plenty of water. Toxins are released after a massage and water helps flush these toxins
- Take a long soak in a hot bath with some Epsom salts
- Avoid heavy workouts
